Fitch Even Partners Joseph Nabor and Steven Parmelee to Speak on Protecting IP Globally

On November 2, 2011, Fitch Even partners Joseph T. Nabor and Steven G. Parmelee will participate in a program on “Protecting Your Intellectual Property Globally,” sponsored by the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago (ITA/GC) in collaboration with the Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing/NORBIC and the Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance (CIPA). 

The panel, which will include Mr. Parmelee and will be moderated by Mr. Nabor, will discuss what business owners need to know about maximizing the value of inventions, brands, and trade secrets as well as protecting a company’s patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. 

The International Trade Association of Greater Chicago is a not-for-profit, voluntary business association dedicated to promoting international commerce in all its forms. CIPA is a not-for-profit entity that identifies and promotes Chicago, the Midwest, and its committed intellectual property practitioners, law schools, associations, and businesses as the intellectual property center for new ideas, programs, and education. The Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing is a collaboration of tax-payer supported and non-for-profit organizations that leverages, coordinates, and focuses their collective resources into integrated solutions that transform Northeast Illinois manufacturers into globally competitive companies. NORBIC is an economic development organization that promotes job growth and community advancement through the provision of professional and technical services to manufacturers located in the State of Illinois's Northeast Economic Development Region.
