An article written by Fitch Even attorney Kerianne A. Strachan is featured in Business Law Today, published by the ABA Business Law Section. In the article, “Filing Patent Lawsuits as an Anonymous Plaintiff in the N.D. Ill.—Is it Possible?,” Kerianne discusses a case in which the Northern District of Illinois held that plaintiffs could not file patent infringement suits under pseudonyms to avoid tipping off defendants and allowing them to evade the claims. She goes on to describe potential alternative methods that might be used to thwart a defendant’s evasion.
