In the article, “Federal Circuit Affirms Invalidation of Digital Camera Patent as Ineligible Under § 101,” Joe and Tom discuss a case in which the Federal Circuit issued a decision finding that a patent for an improved digital camera was directed to an abstract idea and therefore not patent-eligible under 35 U.S.C. § 101.
