Fitch Even partner Kendrew H. Colton will be a speaker at the 2012 Annual Meeting & Conference of the National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP) taking place in Alexandria, Va., on August 18–21. During his presentation on August 20, Mr. Colton will provide a summary of the key changes in patent practice stemming from the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act.
The National Association of Patent Practitioners is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting patent practitioners and those working in the field of patent law in matters relating to patent law, its practice, and technological advances.
Mr. Colton has extensive experience in intellectual property counseling and litigation involving patent infringement, contract licensing disputes, copyrights, unfair competition, and trade secrets. His practice specialty is designing strategies to achieve market exclusivity and freedom to operate for clients in established and emerging chemical and biochemical technologies.
