Fitch Even Establishes Diversity Scholarship at University of Illinois College of Law

January 9, 2013

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery LLP Diversity Scholarship at the University of Illinois College of Law.

This scholarship is intended to promote diversity within the practice of intellectual property law. The University of Illinois College of Law will select as recipients students who have demonstrated a commitment to, and aptitude for, the practice of intellectual property law, and whom the College of Law believes will promote diversity in the profession. The College will take into account age, class, ethnicity, gender, physical and mental ability, race, sexual orientation, spiritual practice, and financial need among the factors that contribute to a student's diverse background. Students who receive the Diversity Scholarship will be awarded a stipend or tuition credit.

Applications for this scholarship are now being accepted by the College of Law. For more information, please contact Virginia Vermillion, Assistant Dean for Academic Administration and Dean of Students.

The Diversity Scholarship is part of a continuing, longstanding commitment by Fitch Even to support diversity within the legal profession.
