Articles reporting the November 18 passing of longtime Fitch Even name partner Morgan L. Fitch, Jr., have recently been published in the print and online editions of two Chicago newspapers.
On December 5, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin published an article recounting Mr. Fitch’s leadership and mentorship during his nearly 60 years at Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery, as well as his decades of steadfast service to the Navy League and related organizations. The article, "Global Clients, Young Attorneys Counted on Fitch," features remembrances of Dr. Tabin related by Fitch Even partners Timothy P. Maloney, Joseph T. Nabor, and Joseph E. Shipley.
The Chicago Tribune printed a news story titled "Veteran Founded Sea Cadet Corps to Educate Kids" in their December 6 edition, highlighting some of Mr. Fitch’s many accomplishments and also including quotes from Fitch Even partners John F. Flannery and Joseph T. Nabor.
A memorial service for Mr. Fitch was held on December 7 in Homewood, Illinois.
