Fitch Even partner Alison Aubry Richards was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA), a pro bono organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to artists and arts organizations that are financially unable to retain legal counsel.
Alison is a litigator with significant trial experience whose practice focuses on patent disputes. She has litigated patent cases in technical areas including semiconductors, photolithography, integrated circuits, computer software, imaging systems, mobile electronics, online payment systems, human genetic therapies, and medical devices.
LCA is the only pro bono legal service organization in Illinois that specializes in all areas of the arts. Founded in 1972, LCA has since enlisted more than 1,800 lawyers to provide assistance on a volunteer basis to over 2,000 financially eligible individuals and arts organizations.
