Fitch Even Marketing Director Beverly A. Loder contributed a chapter to the book Marketing Success: How Did She Do That?, recently published by the American Bar Association Law Practice Division. The book, developed by the ABA Women Rainmakers Committee, features interviews with 46 women lawyers who have successfully built their practices using the most current approaches to marketing and business development.
Beverly’s chapter focuses on how the women she profiled use writing for publication to grow and develop their niche law practices. Topics include how they find the time to write, how to identify appropriate topics, what publishing outlets they use, how they leverage their published work, and their recommendations for novice writers.
The mission of ABA Women Rainmakers is to educate women lawyers about marketing and business development, to provide mentoring opportunities for members, and to provide networking opportunities to build personal and professional relationships. Beverly has been a member of the ABA Women Rainmakers Steering Committee since 2011. She was previously Features Editor for Law Practice magazine; Editor of the LMA Midwest newsletter In the Loop, and the longtime Director of LPM Book Publishing at the ABA.
