Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery is pleased to announce that Joseph H. Herron has joined our Chicago office as an associate. Joe has extensive experience representing clients in patent prosecution, patent litigation, and opinion work, as well as in other Intellectual Property matters, in the United States and abroad. He has counseled clients involved in a broad spectrum of technologies within the chemical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, and business method fields.
Joe began his Intellectual Property law practice as a patent agent in 2002. He comes to Fitch Even from Seyfarth Shaw, where his practice included responsibility for a wide range of client matters, including the management and enforcement of large patent portfolios. Prior to his legal career, Joe worked as a chemical engineer.
Joe holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he graduated with high honors and served on Law Review and in the Order of the Coif.
