Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery is pleased to announce that Sylvia M. Dominguez, Ph.D., recently joined our Los Angeles office as a patent scientist. Sylvia has over 17 years of law firm experience assisting with patent preparation and prosecution, conducting patent analysis and research, and preparing claim interpretations, infringement contentions, invalidity contentions, comparison claim charts, and technical reports. With her extensive background in many high-tech areas, she works primarily with clients in areas that include electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, chemistry, and solid-state physics.
In addition to her work as a patent professional, Sylvia has substantial experience as a research scientist, inventor, and award-winning educator. She earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a D.Eng. in Computer Engineering from UCLA, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.
